Each check counts as one: your CV, with or without a job advert, or your LinkedIn profile.
What it checks
- Your CV against the job. Add the job advert or role description for a match rating out of 5, with which of its requirements your CV shows, which it only mentions, and which are missing, and what to add if you have that experience.
- Your CV checked. Errors and inconsistencies a recruiter would query, like overlapping dates or a qualification without a year, and vague claims, with questions to help you add the missing detail.
- Your LinkedIn profile checked. The same check for errors and vague claims on your LinkedIn profile, with tips on the headline, the About section and roles with no description. A LinkedIn profile is usually shorter than a CV, so expect fewer specifics: employers look to your CV for the detail. Save your profile as a PDF on LinkedIn, or copy and paste it.

STARselect Check never writes experience for you. It points to where the detail is missing and asks for it, so what you add to your CV is what you really did.
